First-time visitors What should I expect?
You and your whole family are very welcome! We know it can sometimes be scary to visit a new church – especially if you’ve never really been to church before – so we’ve written this brief guide to what you can expect.
Where and when?
10:10am @ Victory Memorial Hall, St Marys Place, KY16 9UY
We have a location up the road called The Vineyard Centre for offices and midweek events, but our services actually take place at the Victory Memorial Hall, right in the middle of St Andrews.
What should I wear?
Come as you are. You don’t have to wear anything special or feel like you need to dress up in your “Sunday Best”. We believe that God wants to meet us as we actually are – not as we feel we should be!
Before the service
There’s always fresh coffee & doughnuts from 10:10, which is a great time to relax and chat with people before the service gets going.
What do the children do?
At 10:20 the coffee area is transformed into a space for kids to have their own great time in Young Vineyard. A dedicated team runs things while their parents can go upstairs and take part in the service.
During the service
We spend about 25 minutes worshipping with music and singing. We then have a quick look at any news or upcoming events, hear some teaching from the Bible, followed by an opportunity to pray for one another for whatever needs we have – physical, emotional, practical. We’re normally finished by 12pm.
After the service
Another opportunity to grab a coffee and chat with people before leaving for the afternoon.
We meet in a public hall up a flight of stairs and we regret that there is no disabled access.
