All of us want to enjoy the gift of life and thrive in our life’s calling, whatever that may be. Increasingly, in our culture, this requires insight and wisdom – pacing oneself for the long-haul, staying healthy and growing in a pressurised world.
Dr. Arch Hart is Professor of Psychology and Dean Emeritus at Fuller Theological Seminary in California and a practicing clinical psychologist. He is a sought after speaker around the world on stress management, depression, and the emotional hazards of life and ministry.
A prolific and respected author, his books include “Adrenaline and Stress“, “Habits of the Mind”, “Unmasking Male Depression” and “Unveiling Depression in Women”.

[...] I still take the anti-depressants and I have absolutely no intention of stopping. In my particular case it has become clear to me that neither medication nor counselling on their own could have been effective – it had to be the right combination of the two. I no longer see the counsellor but I still remember the sessions vividly and they are still effective. I also frequently refer back to a phenomenal teaching series by Dr Arch Hart that pretty much helped to save my life, which I’ll blog about later but you can download from here. [...]
